Creditsafe: over 100 people in two days

Creditsafe is a multinational company that adopted hybrid working and then could not see where anyone was.
Nobody knew which colleagues would be in, so people travelled to an office that turned out to be empty, took their calls on video anyway, and missed the collaboration they had come in for. HR had no picture of what the offices were being asked to do, and so no way of giving people the right space to work in.
Cardiff already had a desk booking system. It described the desks and nothing else, which left the data too thin for HR to rely on, and its contract was up for renewal, so Creditsafe had a month to replace it. The other offices had nothing at all. Creditsafe chose intheOffice for all four, and rolled it out two ways.
Big bang, in Cardiff and Ireland
The contract deadline chose the method. Creditsafe set the platform up themselves, added each office and configured its bookable desks, and the system was live within two weeks of the decision. People joined themselves with Microsoft sign-in after the launch announcement: over 100 in the first two days, and over 72% of the office within two weeks.
Pilot first, in the Netherlands
The two Dutch offices started with a group of 15 to 30 people and opened it up in stages over the following weeks. Word of mouth moved faster than the plan: people outside the pilot group were asking for access before the rollout team reached them.
Everyone can now see where their colleagues are working, HR has the attendance picture it was missing, and Creditsafe has looked at putting its offices in other countries on the same platform.
